Curb Records recording artist Wyn Starks collaborates with the Fisk Jubilee Singers on At The End Of The River, a stunning gospel-themed EP out today, 2/17. Listen to At The End Of The River HERE.
“It was a dream to work with the Fisk Jubilee Singers,” says Starks. “They’re iconic. They’re historic. I was surrounded by black excellence, and my goal was to highlight this amazing combination of voices.”
Doubling as a loving tribute to Dr. Paul Kwami, who served as musical director for the Fisk Jubilee Singers until his passing in September 2022, At The End Of The River dives deeper into Starks’ collaboration with the GRAMMY® award winning group, which began last summer when Starks released a reimagined version of his gospel ballad “Sparrow” featuring Fisk’s iconic vocal harmonies. Released in celebration of Black History Month, At The End Of The River features renewed recordings from Starks’ first album, Black Is Golden, resulting in an eclectic, vocally driven project that adds new edge to Starks’ genre-bending mix of pop, R&B, and soul.
