Curb Records recording artist Sarah Reeves embraces love after heartbreak on “The Second Time,” out today (2/20). Listen to the reflective track HERE.

Written and produced by Reeves, “The Second Time” delves into the courage it takes to embrace a new love after heartbreak. Written during a transformative time in Reeves’ life, the inspiring ballad captures her authentic journey of falling in love again, remarrying, and moving from Tennessee to Texas – an unexpected leap toward a fresh start. With poignant lyrics that celebrate the bravery of choosing love again, “The Second Time” reflects on the profound beauty of second-chance romance and is a testament to the divine hand that guides us, reminding listeners of the mercy and joy that come when we dare to open our hearts once more.

Reeves shares, “This song is my story in a nutshell. I got married very young, before I truly knew who I was. I walked down the aisle full of hope, only to find myself in a broken marriage that ultimately fell apart. Piece by piece, I gathered my heart, learned how to heal, and slowly rediscovered myself. Along that journey, I met an incredible man who had walked a similar road. I never believed in soulmates until I met him. This past year and a half of our ‘second marriage’ has been the sweetest chapter, and we’re in it forever. My hope is that this song resonates with anyone who’s been through divorce and reminds them that healing is real, love can be found again, and starting over is possible.”

Fans can also hear Reeves across the airwaves as “Cloud Nine” continues to climb the Top 40 Radio chart. “Signs,” Reeves’ song alongside Evan Ford, is also featured in Angel Studio Series, Miracle, On Netflix. Reeves will continue to release more new music throughout the year.
