New Family-First Track “Happy Hour” Launches Today Alongside Album Pre-Order

Curb Records multi-instrumentalist Mo Pitney announces his third studio project, Outskirts of Town, which is slated for release on Mar. 26, 2027. Beginning today (7/17), fans can officially pre-add, pre-save and pre-order the upcoming record HERE. Also available today is “Happy Hour,” the third advance track to preview the full set bowing next year – watch the music video HERE.

Pitney embraces a slower, simpler pace of life on Outskirts of Town. The singer-songwriter lends his rugged vocal and acoustic-grounded instrumentation to an 11-track collection that’s built on emotional storytelling and wholesome living. A celebration of the country music that raised him and the small town that anchors him, the Cherry Valley, Illinois native’s latest endeavor captures the strength and security of family, enduring love and time-tested faith.

Continuing to tease his forthcoming LP, Pitney trades a drink with the boys for a night at home with the family on “Happy Hour” — listen HERE. Aware that time is fleeting, the father of three knows the days are long, but the years are short; and he intends to make the most of it. Soaking up every minute with his wife and kids, the traditional family man savors moments with the ones he loves after a hard day’s work. Colored by dobro, pedal steel and fiddle, “Happy Hour” serves as a mid-tempo reminder of what matters most. The song was written by Adam Louis Wright and Clint Allen Daniels; and produced by Jim “Moose” Brown and Pitney.

With his family in tow, the deft musician is loading up an RV and traveling to radio stations across the country in support of “Happy Hour” this summer. The cleverly titled recording joins previously released selections “Fiddle Around” and “Wake Up and Smell the Country (with Jake Worthington).” Fans can anticipate a steady stream of new music from Pitney throughout 2026.
