Curb Records is proud to announce the signing of Country music singer/songwriter Hannah Ellis. The Kentucky-native, who CMT has named one of their “Next Women of Country,” and Rolling Stone has named an “Artist To Watch,” brings a powerful backstory as an artist and songwriter, and embodies limitless potential in all she does.

“I truly couldn’t be more excited to be joining this team,” shares Ellis. “I have been working towards this my whole life, and I know this is only the beginning.”

As a songwriter, Hannah signed to Curb Publishing in 2015, where she has gone on to write songs recorded by artists spanning multiple genres, including: Russell Dickerson, Carly Pearce, Emily Weisband, Cassadee Pope, Sidewalk Prophets, and Filmore.

“We are proud to continue our very successful relationship with Hannah Ellis as a songwriter, and even more excited to welcome her as a recording artist to Curb Records,” shares Curb Records Chairman Mike Curb.

Laurel Kittleson, VP, Artist Development & A&R at Curb Records adds, “Years ago when she was my intern, I saw Hannah’s incredible work ethic and passion for her craft. It’s been amazing to continually experience her growth as a songwriter and artist over the past few years. I speak for myself and the entire Curb Records team when I say that we are beyond excited to welcome her to the family!”

Ellis has toured with Gavin DeGraw, Dwight Yoakam, Devin Dawson, and many others, along with the CMT “Next Women of Country” Tour.

About Hannah Ellis:

Nashville recording artist and Country music singer/songwriter Hannah Ellis has more personality and energy than most of the people you know, combined. The Campbellsville, KY-native, and University of Kentucky graduate, boasts a resume most would have a hard time even envisioning, including graduating from her alma mater – on a full-ride academic scholarship – in less than 4 years. Rolling Stone has named her to their “Artists To Watch” list, CMT named her one of their “Next Women of Country,” and American Idol mentor, and iHeart Radio DJ, Bobby Bones, recently invited her on to his nationally-syndicated Country music morning radio show. Hannah competed during Season 8 of The Voice on NBC. She sang the National Anthem at a University of Kentucky basketball game, a bucket-list item now crossed off the list. Ellis has written songs recorded by artists spanning multiple genres, including: Russell Dickerson, Carly Pearce, Emily Weisband, Cassadee Pope, Sidewalk Prophets, and Filmore. She has toured with Gavin DeGraw, Dwight Yoakam, Devin Dawson, and many others, and has toured as part of the CMT “Next Women of Country” Tour. Back to her Kentucky roots, Hannah was featured in a national television advertising campaign, where her university proudly showed off Hannah successfully pursuing and achieving her dreams.
