Appears on West’s “DONDA”

Sidewalk Records recording artist The WRLDFMS Tony Williams is in the middle of a meteoric summer, having racked up nearly 5 million streams with his soulful solo single “Everybody Knows” and his appearance on for KING & COUNTRY’s chart-topping hit “Amen (Reborn).” The singer also guest stars on DONDA, the recently-released album by his cousin and longtime collaborator, Kanye West.

“Donda,” one of the album’s fast-moving highlights, showcases the cousins’ unique bond, which they first displayed on West’s multi-platinum debut, The College Dropout. “Donda” made its public debut during a DONDA listening event at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with NME praising the track as an “absolute banger.”

An artist and versatile collaborator whose voice has appeared on many of the 21st century’s most iconic rap albums, Williams has built an empire upon the ability to blend old-school influences with modern touches. Released this spring, “Everybody Knows” finds him singing about romance over funky blasts and gospel-worthy piano chords, nodding to his roots in church music. Meanwhile, “Amen (Reborn)” – recorded by for KING & COUNTRY with appearances by The WRLDFMS Tony Williams and Lecrae – has become one of the year’s biggest-selling singles, climbing to No. 1 on both the US Christian Airplay and US Christian AC charts last month. The song highlights Williams’ voice – an instrument whose swaggering, spiritual power helps deliver the track’s message of rejoicing.

DONDA, “Everybody Knows” and “Amen (Reborn)” are available now.

About The WRLDFMS Tony Williams:

The WRLDFMS Tony Williams is known for his acclaimed solo work as well as his featured appearances on songs by Jay Z, Kanye West, Nas, and others. A soulful innovator whose music bridges the gaps between R&B, gospel, funk, and forward-thinking pop, he made his national debut on Kanye West’s multi-platinum debut, The College Dropout, which featured Williams’ vocals on multiple tracks. Released in 2004, the album launched both artists’ careers. While collaborating with dozens of other artists, Williams utilized his talents not only as a vocalist, but also as a songwriter. He sang on Jay Z’s “A Star Is Born,” duetted with gospel queen Patti LaBelle  on West’s “Roses”, and co-wrote “Bonjour” for Nas. More importantly, he continued creating his own music, marking his solo debut with 2012’s King or the Fool – An Opera: Volume 1 — an album that featured collaborations with John Legend, Raheem DeVaughn, and Mint Condition’s Stokley Williams — and turning a new leaf with 2021’s “Everybody Knows,” recorded alongside rapper Wale.
