(October 15, 2021) — Curb | Word Entertainment pop artist and songwriter Sarah Reeves gives fans an early Christmas present with today’s arrival of “Go Tell It On The Mountain.” The bold, brassy version of the holiday classic combines the unmistakable Big Band sounds of Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole with the warmth and nostalgia of the Vince Guaraldi Trio. “I chose ‘Go Tell It On The Mountain’ because it is a celebration of the Savior’s birth, the whole reason why we celebrate Christmas,” explains Reeves, who arranged the track with producers Ben Schofield and Mark Campbell. “I had so much fun recording this song. We decided to add some jazzy, classic elements to it, as well as another chorus section to really make it come alive even more. I hope that this song reminds you of the joy of Christmas and what a gift it was to have our Savior, our King Jesus, come to this Earth. It is worth shouting about.”
Earlier this summer, Reeves dropped poignant original track, “Years,” which she penned at the height of the global pandemic as a positive ode to an unprecedented year.
