Nashville, Tenn. (November 5, 2021) — Ringing in the holiday season, MCC/Curb Records recording artist Tim Dugger pays tribute to legendary country group Alabama with a version of the band’s iconic hit, “Christmas In Dixie.” Dugger’s breezy, acoustic-driven rendition of the seasonal southern staple is available today (11/5). Listen to Dugger’s sentimental recording of “Christmas In Dixie” HERE.
Dugger’s holiday single was produced by Dan Huff protégé Brandon Hood, who also helmed production for the Alabama native’s MCC/Curb Records debut EP, Signs of a Good Time. “‘Christmas In Dixie’ is a song I grew up singing and loving,” shares Dugger. “Being from Alabama, and loving the band Alabama, it was always on the radio around Christmastime, and when I hear it, it takes me back home and makes me think of growing up there during the holidays.”
The singer/songwriter is equally at home on the racetrack. With recent shows at Talladega Superspeedway, Bristol Motor Speedway and Barber Motorsports Park, among other racing venues across the country, Dugger was also featured on the decklid of #98 in the NASCAR Truck Race at Talladega on Oct. 2.

About Tim Dugger:
MCC/Curb Records recording artist, Country Music singer/songwriter, and Alabama-native Tim Dugger grew up on NASCAR racing, Gospel singing and classic Country music. He developed a genuine love for songwriting and storytelling during summers spent at his local music store jamming with bluegrass pickers. After being introduced to former NASCAR driver and team owner Richard Childress, Dugger was off to the races, playing his original songs at nearly every major track in America. Along the way, he cultivated an unapologetic artistic identity, rooted in the music of his childhood idols like Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin, Hank Williams, and Alan Jackson. Dugger’s new six-song EP, Signs of a Good Time, produced by Dan Huff protégé Brandon Hood is available now.
