Curb Records recording artist and GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter, The WRLDFMS Tony Williams, releases his highly anticipated album, A Fish Without A Bicycle, today, 6/16. The full-length effort promises to be a standout in Williams’ career, with its mix of soulful ballads and upbeat tracks, while Williams’ selfless soul innovation promises consistency while still aiming to reinvent himself with every project. Check out the album HERE.

A Fish Without A Bicycle, which Williams recorded while assisting Kanye West (A.KA. Ye) in the creation of DONDA, is a soulful mix of blues, funk, rock-and-roll, jazz, and gospel, showcasing Williams’ versatility as an artist. The album features collaborations with seasoned rapper Wale on the track “Everybody Knows,” and gospel powerhouse Chandler Moore of Maverick City on the single “Anymore.” The album’s lead single, “Slide By,” featuring B.J. The Chicago Kid, was released in March of this year and has already received critical acclaim, showcasing Williams’ powerful vocals and songwriting abilities.

Williams has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B, including Jay-Z, Nas, Pusha T, and his cousin, Kanye West. He has been an integral part of West’s G.O.O.D. Music (currently Yeezy Sound) machine since 2004 and has toured internationally with West on every major tour. Williams’ debut album, King or The Fool – An Opera: Volume I, marked his official introduction as a solo artist in 2012.

Fans can catch Williams across the country this summer and fall, and he remains a pivotal part alongside West’s weekly Sunday Service. For more from The WRLDFMS Tony Williams, click HERE.

About The WRLDFMS Tony Williams:

The WRLDFMS Tony Williams is known for his acclaimed solo work as well as his featured appearances on songs by Jay Z, Kanye West, Nas, and others. A soulful innovator whose music bridges the gaps between R&B, gospel, funk, and forward-thinking pop, he made his national debut on Kanye West’s multi-platinum debut, The College Dropout, which featured Williams’ vocals on multiple tracks. Released in 2004, the album launched both artists’ careers. While collaborating with dozens of other artists, Williams utilized his talents not only as a vocalist but also as a songwriter. He sang on Jay-Z’s “A Star Is Born,” duetted with gospel queen Patti LaBelle on West’s “Roses”, and co-wrote “Bonjour” for Nas. More importantly, he continued creating his own music, marking his solo debut with 2012’s King or the Fool – An Opera: Volume 1 — an album that featured collaborations with John Legend, Raheem DeVaughn, and Mint Condition’s Stokley Williams — and turning a new leaf with 2021’s “Everybody Knows,” recorded alongside rapper Wale.
