Races Coast-to-Coast on “Tim Dugger and Friends Tour” Now Hitting Speedways Nationwide
Nashville, Tenn. (April 19, 2024) — Curb Records recording artist Tim Dugger gives thanks to the “Man Upstairs” with his new heartfelt original, out today (4/19) — listen HERE. Additionally, the official music video for the earnest song premieres today —watch Here .
“Man Upstairs” finds Dugger building a good life and a good home alongside his wife, complete with a front porch swing and a backyard garden. Dreaming of raising kids and growing old together, he prays for a lifetime of heaven-sent memories fueled by the kind of simple ambition that makes the passing of time as sweet as the tea in his glass. Dugger wrote “Man Upstairs” with Josh Thompson and Brandon Hood, who also produced the track.
The acoustic-driven, mid-tempo rumination arrives on the heels of Dugger’s cover of Merle Haggard’s self-penned classic “Mama Tried.” Both selections mark a season of new music for the country traditionalist.
Poised to headline the 2024 NASCAR racing circuit again this year, the Alabama native is pressing the accelerator on his “Tim Dugger and Friends Tour” hitting major speedways nationwide through November. The headliner took his green flag lap last Saturday (4/13) at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. Tomorrow (4/20), he’ll press the gas on a full-throttle performance at the Talladega Superspeedway in his home state. Supporting his 2024 concert dates in North Carolina are partnerships with Dr. Pepper and Sun Drop that will find Dugger featured in an augmented reality experience throughout Walmart in-store displays and ahead of the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway and the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Additionally, Dugger is set to take the stage at this year’s CMA Fest alongside labelmates Lee Brice, Dylan Scott, Hannah Ellis, and more on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater for a special one-night-only concert event celebrating 60 years of Curb Records. Fans can purchase tickets, benefiting the CMA Foundation, HERE.
The singer/songwriter will continue to debut new music in the months ahead in anticipation of a brand new studio project coming later this year.

About Tim Dugger:
Curb Records recording artist, Country music singer/songwriter, and Alabama native Tim Dugger grew up on NASCAR racing, Gospel singing and classic Country music. He developed a genuine love for songwriting and storytelling during summers spent as his local music store jamming with bluegrass pickers. After being introduced to former NASCAR driver and team owner Richard Childress, Dugger was off to the races, playing his original songs at nearly every major track in America. Along the way, he cultivated an unapologetic artistic identity, rooted in the music of his childhood idols like Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin, Hank Williams, and Alan Jackson. Tim made his Grand Ole Opry debut in December of 2021. Dugger’s set to release new music in 2024, beginning with the release of “Mama Tried” on April 5th and “Man Upstairs” on April 19th.
