Congratulations Bryan, on the Bryan Herta/Curb Agajanian 98 team’s win in the IMSA TCR race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway yesterday, September 21, 2024, with Mark Wilkins and Mason Filippi.
Also, congratulations to Robert Wickens and Harry Gottsacker on finishing second with our team. It is exciting to note that all of our Major Moments At Indianapolis have been in partnership with Bryan Herta and his brilliant race strategy and tire and fuel management. We won the I00th Anniversary Indy 500 in 2011 with Wheldon, we won the 100th Indy 500 in 2016 with Rossi, we won the Indy Pole Award in 2020 with Andretti, we won the 2022 Indianapolis Grand Prix with Colton Herta, we swept all three Indy NXT races at Indy in 2018 with the great Colton Herta. Unfortunately I can’t find Colton’s new email because he will owe me One dollar because his teammate (Starrintino) did win the 2014 Indianapolis Formula 2000 race for the Jay/Curb Agajanian team. Amazingly, Colton finished top 5 in that race in 2014 and was only 14 years old at that time. I will repay the one dollar next May when Colton wins the Indy 500. In closing, Colton’s victory last week in our hometown race in Nashville was so incredible, particularly because we have had the honor of being involved with the HERTA FAMILY from the start of our IMSA team and from the start of our Indy car team with Bryan and for the entire racing career of Colton. We are very blessed to be partnered with the amazing Herta family.
