Forty years after its original release, Sparks’ classic 1986 album Music That You Can Dance To is available today in an expanded, newly remastered anniversary edition on CD, vinyl, and digital formats (10/30/26)!
The album’s memorable singles include “Armies of the Night,” written for and featured in the cult horror film Fright Night; the electronic pulse of “Change”; a double A-side featuring Sparks’ interpretation of Stevie Wonder’s “Fingertips” and the high-energy “The Scene”; and the title track, which appeared in the beloved 1986 BMX cult classic Rad.
The expanded digital edition features 17 bonus tracks, including five new remixes, the previously unreleased demo “How to Survive” and a rare acoustic version of Sparks’ signature 1974 international hit single, “This Town Ain’t Big Enough for Both of Us.”
