Unofficial Nuptials Unveiled in Video Premiering Exclusively on YouTube

Returns to Live In The Vineyard in April

Curb Records artist Harper Grace cordially requests your presence at her wedding with the release of her new song, “if daddy says no,” available today (2/27) — listen HERE. After teasing a possible engagement across her social channels, the emerging songstress unveils her unofficial nuptials via an accompanying music video premiering today exclusively on YouTube. Fans can watch the visually stunning storyline unfold .

Harper Grace is forever her father’s daughter on “if daddy says no.” The Texas native finds herself caught between two men who hold her heart: the one who raised her and the one who pursued her. Contemplating the consequences of choosing one over the other, while acknowledging their similarities, she pleads for patience as she seeks her father’s blessing on a coming-of-age track rooted in real-life vulnerability, not storybook endings. Bathed in a golden hour glow, the warm, emotive ballad continues the country riser’s journey toward her highly anticipated full-length endeavor.

“When I wrote this song, I thought I met my husband. I was ready to walk away, get married, and build a life without considering how much my family mattered to me. But the deeper truth was that the relationship I was holding onto didn’t honor me the way I deserved — and it certainly didn’t honor the people who raised me. Over time, I realized that my relationship with my father and my family carried far more weight than holding onto a relationship that wasn’t rooted in respect or integrity,” Harper Grace shares of the genesis of the cut she crafted with Kyle Schlienger and Scott Stepakoff. “This song lives in the tension between wanting to make the right decision for yourself and not tearing down everything else around you in the process. It’s about choosing long-term values over short-term emotion, and realizing that love isn’t just about who you fall for — it’s about who you become and what you’re willing to protect.”

Harper Grace has already been previewing “if daddy says no,” while opening select dates for fellow “American Idol” alum Scotty McCreery. This comes on the heels of supporting Walker Hayes on his acoustic run last fall. Up next, the buzzworthy singer-songwriter is scheduled to return to Napa Valley’s “Live In The Vineyard Goes Country” event in April.
