Marks First Concert Ever To Take Place at Bald Knob Cross of Peace

Curb | Word Entertainment recording artist Sidewalk Prophets announces the Great Big Family Reunion At The Cross in Alto Pass, IL. Taking place under the stars at Bald Knob Cross Of Peace, one of the tallest man-made crosses in the world, this marks the first-ever concert to be held at this specific location.

“Since the first Easter Sunrise Service 85 years ago, Christians have united to experience the presence of God on Bald Knob Mountain and we are excited to host our first ever concert with the award-winning Sidewalk Prophets,” states Jeffrey Isbell, Executive Director of Bald Knob Cross. “We believe the Cross offers an unparalleled venue for a Christian concert and know that the region will come out to not only hear amazing music, but also to support the Bald Knob Cross, all while worshipping our Creator.”

“We cannot wait to share this night under the stars with one of the most beautiful backdrops in the country,” shares front man Dave Frey. “Performing in the shadow of the cross is going to be something truly special!”

All tickets are $20, with group rates available, and include a special VIP experience with the band. For ticket information, go to www.swpatthecross.com.

In April, the band also announced their “Great Big Family Reunion” tour, their first in-person tour in over a year, beginning this month. After a successful and innovative year of livestream concerts, with over 35K virtual audience members, the “Great Big Family Reunion” tour will encompass the songs and storytelling of the livestream concerts but will take place live and in-person. The tour will run through August 2021.
