“New Truck” Impacts Radio 8/9; Music Video Premieres Today Currently On Tour With Luke Bryan
Curb Records recording artist Dylan Scott presses the gas on his brand-new song, “New Truck,” available today (7/23). Following his second No. 1 RIAA Gold-certified single, “Nobody,” “New Truck” is set to impact Country radio Aug. 9. Listen to the driving breakup anthem HERE. Additionally, a music video for the full-throttle track premieres today. Watch as Scott sets his memories ablaze in the song’s official visual HERE.
Written by HARDY, Hunter Phelps, Ben Johnson and Ashley Gorley, “New Truck” continues Scott’s red-hot streak of hits. “The first time I heard ‘New Truck,’ it sounded different than anything else I was listening to,” the Louisiana native shares. “We’ve all been in a situation where you and your significant other have broken up, and it’s tough. Every time you get back in your truck, you go back to certain memories of them in there as well. So this song is saying, ‘Man, I need a new truck to quit thinking about her.’”
Scott’s new single drops on the heels of his inaugural CMT Music Award win. Last month, he took home the 2021 CMT Music Award for “Breakthrough Video of the Year” for “Nobody” and performed the tender ballad live from the Ram Trucks Side Stage. Watch the fan-voted, award-winning video, featuring his wife Blair, HERE.
Scott is currently providing direct support for Luke Bryan on the “PROUD TO BE RIGHT HERE TOUR” through October. After stops in Charlotte (7/23) and Raleigh (7/24) this weekend, the trek will make its way to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on July 30. Moreover, Scott will headline his third annual Bayou Stock Festival on Oct. 23 in his home state of Louisiana. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.

About Dylan Scott:
Curb Records recording artist and 2021 CMT Music Award winner Dylan Scott is the total package — a powerful singer with a deep, resonating drawl; an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit; a heartthrob with an easy smile; and a dreamer who followed in his father’s footsteps to Nashville. The Double Platinum-certified “My Girl” became his first #1 at radio, followed by Platinum-Top 5 single, “Hooked.” His Nothing To Do Town EP hit #1 on the Billboard Country Album Sales chart, and the project’s title-track was recently certified RIAA Gold, as was his self-titled debut album. With career on-demand streams at 1.1 million, the Louisiana native has headlined shows and opened for Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan and Chris Young. Scott garnered his first career nomination for Best New Country Artist at the all-genre 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards and was named among Country Radio Seminar’s coveted New Faces of Country Music® Class of 2019. Additionally, he released a seven-song EP honoring legendary singer/songwriter Keith Whitley with An Old Memory (A Keith Whitley Tribute). Scott is currently on the road as direct support on Luke Bryan’s 2021 “Proud To Be Right Here” tour. His most recent radio single, “Nobody,” debuted on NBC’s TODAY with Hoda & Jenna and is the singer’s second #1 at Country radio. Scott’s follow-up, “New Truck,” is set to impact Country radio on Aug. 9.
