Nashville, Tenn. (January 6, 2023) – For Sidewalk Records recording artist Wyn Starks, “Who I Am” is the gift that keeps on giving. “This whole experience has been incredible,” Starks says of the single, tour, and the national platform they have provided. “‘Who I Am’ truly hits home for me because it’s the story of my own journey. It’s the story of me becoming Wyn.”

Written by Starks and performed in dedication to his lost twin brother during an episode of the last season of America’s Got Talent, “Who I Am” received two standing ovations from the crowd and unanimous praise from the judges, with Simon Cowell saying, “I think this could be a life-changing moment for you.” Starks’ success continued with a nationally televised “Who I Am” performance during the Minnesota Vikings Crucial Catch Halftime Show in October. Accompanied by an upright pianist, Starks took the field at U.S. Bank Stadium — headquarters of the Minnesota Vikings, as well as a short drive from Starks’ childhood home in Minneapolis — to perform the single, which has seen multi-format chart success, reaching the Top 20 of Mediabase and Billboard’s AC chart as well as Top 30 of Hot AC and R&B. Starks ended the year with a nationally televised holiday performance on The Hollywood Christmas Parade.

Launched in November and named after Starks’ signature hit song, the “Who I Am Tour” visited 6 cities across America, making stops at iconic venues like Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, 7th St Entry in Minneapolis, and the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. In addition to his sold-out gig at The Basement in Nashville, Starks also delivered a sold-out performance for SoFar Sounds in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood.

Starks looks forward to extending his “Who I Am Tour” into 2023, with dates being announced soon. For more information on Wyn Starks and upcoming releases and tour dates, click HERE.
