Curb | Word Entertainment pop artist, songwriter and producer Sarah Reeves releases “Zuma Beach,” the final advance track ahead of her long-awaited studio LP, Best Days, arriving Sept. 22, 2023. Fans can listen to the new sun-kissed offering HERE and pre-save/pre-add/pre-order the full 16-song project HERE. Additionally, the wistful ballad’s accompanying sand-and-sea music video can also be viewed HERE starting today (9/8).

Reeves lets the ocean wash away her heartache on “Zuma Beach.” The sounds of the crashing waves and the taste of the salty SoCal air breathe new life into her lungs as she ponders the past and says goodbye to what could have been on the shore of her future. The bittersweet track is buoyed by a cheerful acoustic guitar, contemplative piano and Reeves’ emotively poetic lyrics.

Holding writing credit on every selection, Reeves explores an entire spectrum of emotions on her impending LP, Best Days. Since last year, Reeves has been quietly teasing her upcoming release, dropping singles, reels and music videos at a rapid pace, including the recent “Billboards On Sunset” — all leading up to the full album reveal. Anchored by the title-cut and inspired by the summer breeze of Los Angeles, where she recorded the full-length effort, the songstress blends organic instrumentation, electronic elements and vulnerable lyricism to craft a record that’s timeless in the stories it tells, yet modern in the sonics it brings to life. From carefree pop musings to raw confessions surrounding relational tension, the multifaceted artist probes what it means to be human and, in turn, gives listeners permission to do the same.
