So sad to hear that we’ve lost Alan Osmond. It’s important for the world to know the incredible role he played as the leader for The Osmonds. We always knew that Merrill was the sound of The Osmonds, and we always knew the special role that Wayne and Jay played, and obviously the incredible way that Donny Osmond was able to be an Osmond brother and at the same time break out as a solo artist. Their sister Marie also played an incredible part. It was always Alan who was the leader and played that major role of holding the group together and making sure everything worked perfectly. In addition to his talent as a singer and a songwriter, he was a great father, a great husband, and a great role model for all of us. It was an honor to sign Alan and the Osmonds to my company and to produce their records over the years, but it was an even greater honor to participate in over 100 Billboard chart records with the Osmond family.
