Upcoming Album, Standing Up, Dropping September 4

Curb Records recording artist Sarah Reeves silences negative self-talk on “Believe In Me,” out today. Listen to empowering track, off her upcoming album, Standing Up, dropping 9/4, HERE.

A vulnerable anthem of self-rediscovery, healing, and learning to speak kindly to yourself again “Believe In Me” was born out of Reeves’ own healing journey from emotional survival and hidden pain to openness, confidence, and renewal. With raw honesty, Reeves reflects on grief, growth, and the powerful practice of replacing negative self-talk with words of love, strength, and affirmation. Both intimate and uplifting, “Believe In Me” captures the moment when healing begins to feel real and when self-belief finally starts to take root.

The vocal change throughout the track also documents the emotional transformation and is used as a metaphor for healing, while it also slots into the Standing Up album story as the turning point track: before “180,” finding new love when life takes a sharp turn, there is finding yourself:

“‘Believe In Me’ was born out of my own healing journey,” shares Reeves. “After years of carrying pain, perfectionism, and negative self-talk, I realized my voice had literally changed because I was finally singing from a place of honesty instead of self-protection. This song is a reminder that healing begins with the words we speak to ourselves. My hope is that listeners walk away believing they are worthy, enough, and capable of becoming the person they were created to be.”

Also previewing her upcoming album, Reeves recently released “Overnight Success” and “180.” Reeves will continue to release more new music ahead of her upcoming album, Standing Up, out 9/4, throughout the year.
